Eating (Really) Local

Eating locally grown and produced food is good for the environment and good for the local farmer or producer.  The dinner pictured below is extremely local. I caught the Catfish about 1/2 mile from home. We grew the Tomatoes, Beans and Herbs used to prepare it.

Hickory-smoked Teryaki Catfish was marinated overnight in a homemade Teryaki sauce
 then grilled until flaky.

 It tastes even better than it looks.

Fresh caught Catfish, home-grown Tomatoes and Green Beans.

 Solar baked Banana Bread for desert. It doesn't get any better than this!
